Justine Giles is an artist based in Auckland, New Zealand.
She graduated from Whitecliffe College of Arts & Design in 2015 with a Masters of Fine Arts (First Class Honours). She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts gained in 2010, and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Media Studies and English from Massey University gained in 2003.
Justine’s art practice incorporates primarily drawing, watercolour and found objects. As an avid reader and part time library assistant, Justine loves a good story and finds inspiration in the literary and linguistic, particularly the idea of text as image.
