this is a great article. I have just had all my family from Europe here and many of them (both young and old) had a digital tick, both in taking images and also feeling the need to google everything. Since I now use photography in much of my arts practice I have more and more that everyday life is lived in the moment and I have no desire to record it. This article made me realize what I was doing, capturing it in my memory banks, for me to enjoy.

It’s interesting isn’t it? It also makes you think about how narrow the view through the viewfinder is, and how much of reality you miss in trying to capture it.
